SUMMARY:8ème JRJO / Subventionnées par la SFC
DESCRIPTION:Les 8ème JRJO (Journées de Rentrée des Jeunes Oncologues) ont eu lieu du 29 novembre au 1er décembre 2024 à Poitiers. \nIl s’agit d’un congrès annuel\, à destination des étudiants en médecine de 3ème cycle suivants le diplôme d’études spécialisés (DES) d’Oncologie\, débutant leur internat dans la phase socle.\nRégulièrement soutenu par le Collège National des Enseignants en Cancérologie (CNEC) et la SFC\, il participe à la formation initiale des médecins oncologues médicaux et oncologues radiothérapeutes de demain. Les deux journées du congrès sont orientées sur des thèmes transversaux et l’oncologie générale\, afin de permettre aux nouveaux internes de posséder toutes les clés en début d’internat. \nChaque année\, près de 120 jeunes internes bénéficient de cette mise à niveau de leurs connaissances. \nProgramme \nRetour en images :

This conference aims to illuminate the intricate dynamics between ageing and cancer\, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue among researchers and clinicians. By understanding the biological dimensions of cancer in ageing populations\, we aspire to drive innovations in prevention\, diagnosis\, and treatment strategies. SUMMARY:First european NPIS forum / Hybrid event
DESCRIPTION:First european NPIS forum – 5th december 2024 – Brussels\nImproving Health of European Citizens through a Common Framework for Non-Pharmacological Interventions (NPIs)\nNon-pharmacological interventions (NPIs) have been mentioned by health authorities and many scientific and health societies\, given their potential to improve health and quality of life in the long-term\, reduce healthcare expenditure and trigger behavioral changes.\nHowever\, “fake health news” have spread rapidly in the past years. It is therefore urgent to provide a European tool for the citizens (patients\,\nprofessionals and healthcare operators) to be identify Evidence-based NPIs. \nSuch a scientifically validated framework for NPIs has just been co-designed in France in a transdisciplinary\, inter-sectoral\, participative and independent scientific study supported by INSERM\, co-constructed with over 1000 participants. This work resulted not only in the definition of a perimeter of psychosocial\, nutritional and physical practices to define NPIs as “an evidence-based\, effective\, personalized\, non-invasive health prevention or care protocol\, registered and supervised by a qualified professional”\, most importantly\, it produced a centralized European register of labelled\, described\, and codified practices that has just been launched in October 2024 in Paris: the NPIS Registry\nThe aim of this first European multistakeholder Forum on NPIs is to present the study and the science that led to the construction of the NPIs Registry in France and to explore the interest and feasibility of uptake and deployment at European level. \nProgram and registration

SUMMARY:Week-end de l'AJORA / Subventionné par la SFC
DESCRIPTION:Du 6 au 8 décembre 2024 s’est déroulé le week-end de l’AJORA (l’Association des Jeunes Oncologues de Rhône-Alpes) au domaine de la Gentilhommière à Satilleu (07290) \nCe fut un temps de rencontres\, d’échanges et de formation pour tous les internes de la région\, en oncologie médicale et radiothérapeutique. Plus de 50 internes se sont donc retrouvés pour assister aux cours ayant pour thème l’oncologie tête et cou. Des interventions de qualité ont été dispensées par des praticiens expérimentés exerçant à Lyon et Valence\, couvrant non seulement le sujet du carcinome épidermoïde\, mais aussi des histologies plus rares tels que l’UCNT du cavum ou l’adénocarcinome de l’ethmoïde. \nCe week-end a également été l’occasion pour les plus jeunes internes de la région\, en poste depuis seulement début novembre\, de rencontrer leurs pairs plus âgés. Il a pu être financé intégralement grâce aux partenaires tels que la Société Française du Cancer\, permettant l’accès à une formation gratuite et de qualité aux internes d’Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. \n
