The Australasian International Breast Congress (AIBC) which was due to take place in Brisbane, Australia from October 14-16, 2021 has been postponed to 2022.
The AIBC organisers and executive committee have been closely monitoring the evolving situation around the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to local and global uncertainties, travel restrictions and state lockdowns, the very difficult, but unanimous decision was made to postpone the Congress.
However, this congress will take place from October 13-15, 2022 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC), where it was originally planned.
The congress will be held jointly with the Australasian Society for Breast Disease (ASBD), 6th World Congress on Controversies in Breast Cancer (CoBrCa) and Breast Surgeons of Australia and New Zealand (BreastSurgANZ).
As the main congress in the field of breast diseases in the Asia-Pacific region in 2022, it is one that should not be missed! The Joint Congress will directly address key issues facing clinicians and nurses in their daily practice, including medical oncology, surgery, radiation oncology, breast imaging, pathology, reconstruction, allied health and survivorship issues.
